Autocad 2008 Error 1406

Has anyone run into the Error 1406 permission denied in such and such registry entries when installing Autocad 2008?

The general consensus is that it is a conflict with Adobe Flash already being installed, more than likely a newer version than comes with Autocad. First try uninstalling your Flash Player, then install Autocad. If that doesn't work, look at the registry entries it is referring to and do Run -> Regedit. Navigate to the key's top level folder in HKEY-LOCALMACHINE, right click and set the permissions on it to allow you full control.
